What a nice relaxing weekend. Josh took Brandon and Ben to see the new Incredible Hulk Friday night. They came home around 9:00 so excited. They said the movie was awesome. Brandon has really been wanting to see the movie since several of his friends have already. They get there summer school money on Wed. And I know what we will be doing when they get out that day. They both want something to do with Hulk.

Saturday morning Josh took Brandon and Ben out to the lake for camping, bike riding, swimming, and hiking. it was a surprise they were so excited. Me and Faith got the house to ourselves. Brandi came over and had dinner with us Saturday night and hung out for awhile. Afterwards me and Faith watched some Americas most wanted and 48 hours mystery. We actually got to sleep in a little this morning.

Faith is missing her bubbies though. She went upstairs and put on one of Bens masks and came down and scared Shelby, goofy dog.

So last night we went out to the park for a boyscout meeting and the boys were suppose to play mountain ball and have an icecream social. What a mess that was. We all know how much it rained so it was so muddy and mushy. Faith and her little friend Morgan got so muddy playing around the swings and going down the slides. They did played mountain ball but it was more like slip and slide. We didnt get home till almost 9:00 then I had to dunk all the kids in the bath. They didnt get to bed till after 10:00 so it was kind of hard getting them up for summer school. But they are up. Only 6 more days. It is going fast.
Brandon likes to be on the computer he has been finding some fun games.

Ben and Faith love to help me in the kitchen. It doesnt matter if it is making brownies, cupcakes, cleaning grapes, pitting cherries they always want to help. Which I think is great. I dont let them help with anything raw like chicken.

Time for cherry picking!!!

What a beautiful weekend. Josh helped a friend all weekend with his deck so me and the kids hung out. We had a birthday party to go to on Saturday and then Sunday we picked some cherries. The neighbor girls came over and helped. We picked alot of cherries but there are still lots more to pick. We filled up about 12 1 gallon ziplock bags and probably have atleast double that left to pick. The hard part is getting up to the top. I think I will save that part for Jamie. (Just kidding) but anyways it was fun. I let the kids each climb the ladder while I held it and grab as much as the could reach. They had a blast. Then they took a candy and koolaid break and were then invited across the street for dinner and swimming. They love going swimming across the street. And I love the little bit of peace. Dont you love how Ben smiles in every picture?

So the kids are in their second week of summer school and they are loving it. Ben really is have a blast getting to see what a full day of school consists of. He loves recess and he loves lunch. Brandon is having a blast too. He is taking chess right now and loves it. He switches classes on Monday. We have been walking to and from school everyday which has saved me so much gas. We dont live too far from the school that you would think it would make that big of a difference but it is. I guess it helps that because I am not already out in the car I dont make any special trips. I tend to make things last. Also the exercise has been wonderful too. I think we have decided we will be walkers next year instead of car riders.

I have just been getting some stuff done around the house. Went through the kids clothes and got their drawers cleaned out. Also went through their toys while they werent here. Its been rather nice. Faith has just been hanging out. Her new favorite shows are the Backyardigans and Scooby. For awhile there she only wanted to watch Dora.

I need to get my behind out side to start picking some cherries I think they are ready now. Probably will do that on Saturday. Josh will be busy all weekend helping a friend build a deck so me and the kids will have to find something to do. Picking cherries sounds like what we will be doing.

Sometimes this dog of mine drives me so crazy but then its pictures like this that make me less crazy. Not all dogs would just let you lay all over them. But she always lets Faith.

Happy Fathers Day!!!!

So this morning we went over to my mom and dads house bright and early for some break fast. Camille and Faith thought they would have a little Pop time. Pop opened some presents and we all spent time holding Makenna. It was a very nice morning. Then everyone had to leave and go off and do their Sunday plans. Also my brother Josh decided to do the mohawk.

Well we got our kiddie pool out of storage. That is all we get around here. They dont have a community pool except for the community center and because that is all they have it is too expensive but it is always so crowded. I wish we had one we could go to but we will have to do with this. The kids dont really mind. We did discover that they have the springs at zona rosa not sure how much that costs but we also have a few sprayer parks that are free. So we will make do.

First of all Sex in the City was the best movie I have seen in a long time. I had so much fun. Even for being almost 2 1/2 hours I was not bored at all.

Second of all I feel so lost. Ben has only went to preschool 3 hours a day for the last 2 years and only 2 or 4 days a week. Now with him being gone from 8:50 until after 4:00 I just feel wierd. I keep walking around the house lost or thinking oh my gosh where is Ben it is too funny. On the other hand it has been so peaceful and quiet. Yesterday they were suppose to be back for us to pick up at 4:10. They did not show up until almost 4:45. They didnt let the students out of summer school until 4:20 and then the busdriver forgot several students at the school. We had parents show up to pick up their kids and they werent on the bus. Not funny. So this morning the busdriver was counting and asking every students name as they got on the bus. She was not gonna do that again.

Grandma and Poppy came to visit us last night and they bought Chinese for dinner yummy. We had a really nice visit I dont think we had seen them since Christmas.
