So I got woke up this morning to several people calling me and wishing me a Happy Birthday which is always nice. Brandon had to be at school an hour early this morning so we were kind of rushing. Ben's friend Owen and his mom Heather are coming over for a play date today so I made up a snack tray for us while we visit. Ben keeps asking every 5 minutes is it time yet. He really enjoys doing something while Brandon is at school I am sure Brandon will get to hear all about it when we pick him up. Brandi and Brianna are coming over this evening and bringing me a Strawberry cake with strawberry icing. My absolute favorite it will be really nice since my husband is working all day and has school tonight so we wont be seeing him probably at all unless he gets out early.

Last night Brandons cake sold for 21.00 Josh didnt realize what was going on but I guess people were bidding high on their own cake and Josh wasnt able to get a cake. Brandon was really excited because the cub master ended up with his cake. He was super proud.

Not a very good start to the day today. I went to my sister's last night (Jamie's) and she helped me and Brandon with a cake we needed to make for the cake auction tonight for boyscouts. They wanted something creative so who did we call. Anyways we decided on the monkey cake that Jamie made for Lacy's birthday. Well I make the cake and it did not turn out no matter how long I let it cook the middle would not get done but the edges were horrible. So I started over and made a new one it turned out, but when I got to Jamie's we could not get the cake out of the pan. (Guess I should have taken it out while it was warm). So finally it came out but not in the best shape but with 2 cans of icing later you cant'even tell. So hopefully it brings in some big bucks. Anyways Brandon was in a mood today he argued with me all morning I was so glad it was a school day. LOL. Here are some pictures from the other day. Plus an angry picture of Brandon. Enjoy!!!

Also poor Jana has officially been put on bedrest which she is not happy with. But they cant get her blood pressure to stay down. Yesterday it was 160 over 100. They are going to try and get her to 2 more weeks and then they will probably take the baby.

What a wonderful weekend. Saturday I got Ben's drawer cleaned out and passed on to Ryan some clothes that no longer fit Ben. I got my car cleaned out inside and out. And the kids played all day with the neighbors. Then Sunday we went to moms and had our first barbecue of the season. It was a little chilly but that didnt seem to bother anyone. My brother did the grill and everything was yummy. Everyone else brought a side dish and mom and Jamie got me a yummy cake. I also came home with a new set of dishes, ( from mom) some new kitchen towels ( from Jana) , some awesome hand lotion, bath gel, and some massage oil ( that my sis Jamie got me) (hint hint Josh), some yummy chocolate, candles, from Brandi ( that I am trying to keep the kids out of ) and a gift card to Kohls and candle (from Jessica). It was awesome. Thanks everybody. Plus the kids got to hang out with their cousins and their best bud Brianna. Pictures to come my computer is acting dumb.

Oh my goodness. Yesterday was so much fun. We got to learn all about mammals, fish, reptiles, amphibians. We got to see all kinds of skins of the animals, and then some of the animals were stuffed. Everything was either hit by accident or died of natural causes and then someone just brought it in. It was alot of fun and all the kids were fighting over sitting by me or holding my hand. You could tell Brandon was getting a little irritated but he said nothing. I got to visit with Brandon's teacher the whole way there and whole way back that was really nice. By the time they got back to school they only had an hour and a half left. I went home and had to leave again and while I was out I had a tire issue. I had to move way over for this bus and then I had to move over more well in the process I hit somebodys landscape timber (or whatever its called) and I knew as soon as I did it something was wrong. I rushed to the gas station got out air was pouring out of my tire. I quickly got back in to try and make it home, switched vehicles and back up to get Brandon. I punctured the tire bad. I could not be patched. $140 dollars later I got a new tire. I guess I got myself a birthday present (just what I always wanted NOT).

Ok this is the mud that is making my house have a constant dirty floor. I need to do something about this soon.

Today me and Brandon get to go to Discover Center. It will be fun. It is suppose to be inside and outside so hopefully the rain doesnt ruin our outside. Brandon is really excited that I get to go with him. His friends are also excited I get to go. Faith is a little upset I am going without her. She asks to go bye-bye everyday. She doesnt care where we go as long as we go somewhere. Josh was able to take the day off so I could go. Faith usually is excited when Josh is home but today she is kind of being a crab. I am sure she will be fine once I leave.

Ok I think I may be getting the hang of this!!!!

So I am slowing getting everything moved over. I really like this much better. So much easier. The hard part is moving all of my stuff over.

We had an awesome weekend. My b-day is coming up so my kids wanted to get me flowers for my flower boxes so I planted those. They couldnt wait till my actual birthday so I got them early. Thats ok. They helped me plant them. Then Sunday afternoon me and the kids and my best bud Brandi and Brianna went and flew some kites. The kids did really awesome for their first time. Then we let them run off some energy at the park. Faith is not scared of anything. She is climbing up this big ol ladder to get to the top of the high slide and she just pushed her way through. Slid down and yelled again, again. It was so cute. Then we came back to the house and had an awesome dinner again that my best bud provided. Thanks Bi Bi it was super yummy. I love waking up to the cool temps but not cold. I actually got to go to bed last night and leave the windows open.

This is the shower cake we had for Jana and Nick. By the way she is naming the baby Makenna Adison and she is having a girl in case I forgot to mention that in a prior blog entry. They will probably be able to change the baby 4 to 6 times a day with all the clothes they got. This cake was absolutely delicious.
This weekend the kids had alot to do to keep them busy. We went running around most of the morning on Saturday to find Josh some shoes, which we never found. But we did find me 3 shirts and a pair of capri pants. Penny's was having an awesome sale. I hate going shopping because all they make anymore is these itty bitty tiny t-shirts at all the stores I use to love to shop at. I am not picky at all I just want a cute tshirt that atleast goes to my waist and a pair of shorts that goes down further than a pair of bikini bottoms. Is that too much to ask for. But it worked out I found my favorite capri pants on sale for half the price.
We got home 30 minutes before the birthday party the kids were attending. I had to quickly wrap the 2 presents, have the kids fill out the cards and leave. I was hoping I was just going to get to drop the kids off and leave but I got to help instead. Which was fine the party was alot of fun. Sunday was the space derby which I was really disappointed in. First of all lots of people either forgot about on accident or on purpose cause we should have had about 35 to 40 kids and only 12 showed up. Brandon got 3 place the first race and 2 the second race but somebody really messed up because overall they had him in like 10th place. I dont know what that was all about. But sorry for no pictures. I forgot my camera and my camera phone takes horrific pics. When we get his rocket back I will post a picture of him holding it.

Man what a past few days. Have barely had time to breath. But its been fun.
I threw a baby shower for Nick and Jana last Sunday. It was alot of fun. I am pretty certain everyone had a great time. Jana's due date is June 7th, but she has been having some issues and could end up going early so I wanted to have the shower a little early so she could enjoy it. We had some yummy food and some fun games. There was about 20 people total. I decided to have it at the house and it worked out great. I was kind of stressing because a few people hadnt RSVP'd and I wasnt sure how many people to actually expect but it turned out great.
Also I have been working on painting some of the rooms in my house and that can keep a person very busy. I try to paint when Brandon and Ben are at school. Faith is really good and lets me do what I need to do and keeps herself occupied. She is such a good little girl. She is always helping me and gives me the time when I need to get something done.
I am trying to get everything inside done so wants it warms up and stops raining I can work on the outside. I try to stay organized I seem to get alot more accomplished that way.
Josh has been working so much. Sometimes we dont get to even see each other or talk to each other. Between his 45 plus hours at work, his helping with boyscouts, him going to school and anything else that might come up. I guess you wont get in any fights or disagreements that way huh. Brandon and Ben have a birthday party on Saturday and then Sunday is the boyscout space derby race so no rest insight anytime soon. Maybe soon I will get everything done and then I'll complain I have nothing to do. LOL.
