Sorry no blog in awhile but things are NUTS around here lately. Now that Josh is going to school and working I really have alot going on. Atleast before if he had a day off or 2 I could have him deal with the kids and get a couple of things done but not now. I have the kids literally 24-7. When he is home he has to do homework. We did go get our picture taken this weekend and we got to eat out. Which doesnt happen too much anymore. It was nice quality time. Faith didnt like our photographer. Well its not that she didnt like him she was just really checking him out and wouldnt smile. Otherwise I am just trying to catch up laundry and such. Thought I would share the photo. We got Faiths picture taken and the boys and her together I will share later.

Faith loves to be in the kitchen! I was once told to make a drawer or a cabinet or both in your kitchen with just stuff in it the kids could play with. It really has always helped me. Except when I open the refrigerator door she drops everything and wants to play in there. We got her a play kitchen for her birthday I might as well just move it in the kitchen with our stuff. Give her a spatula or a pot and she is in heaven.

Brandon and Ben are having a blast playing in the snow. They made a snowman, throwing snowballs, sledding down our little hill. This is the first time in a couple of years there has been enough snow to do this stuff. Josh was even sledding too. but he quit before I got a picture. This is one way to tire them out. He used dirt, just like for the rest of us. 2. Magic plus super powers and a lot of stirring 3. God made my Mom just the same like he made me. He Just used bigger parts. What ingredients are mothers made of? 1. God makes mothers out of clouds and angel hair and everything nice in the world and one dab of mean. 2. They had to get their start from men's bones. Then they mostly use string, I think. Why did God give you your mother & not some other mom? 1. We're related. 2. God knew she likes me a lot more than other people's moms like me.
What kind of little girl was your mom? 1. My mom has always been my mom and none of that other stuff. 2. I don't know because I wasn't there, but my guess would be pretty bossy. 3. They say she used to be nice. What did mom need to know about dad before she married him? 1. His last name. 2. She had to know his background. Like is he a crook? Does he get drunk on beer? 3. Does he make at least $800 a year? Did he say NO to drugs and YES to chores? Why did your mom marry your dad? 1. My dad makes the best spaghetti in the world. And my Mom eats a lot. 2. She got too old to do anything else with him. 3. My grandma says that Mom didn't have her thinking cap on. Who's the boss at your house? 1. Mom doesn't want to be boss, but she has to because dad's such a goof ball. 2. Mom. You can tell by room inspection. She sees the stuff under the bed. 3. I guess Mom is, but only because she has a lot more to do than dad. What's the difference between moms & dads? 1. Moms work at work and work at home & dads just go to work at work. 2. Moms know how to talk to teachers without scaring them. 3. Dads are taller & stronger, but moms have all the real power 'cause that's who you got to ask if you want to sleep over at your friend's. 4. Moms have magic. They make you feel better without medicine. What does your mom do in her spare time? 1. Mothe rs don't do spare time. 2. To hear her tell it, she pays bills all day long. What would it take to make your mom perfect? 1. On the inside she's alread y perfect. Outside, I think some kind of plastic surgery. 2. Diet. You know; her hair. I'd diet, maybe blue. If you could change one thing about your Mom, what would it be? 1. She has this weird thing about me keeping my room clean I'd get rid of that. 2. I'd make my Mom smarter. Then she would know it was my sister who did it and not me. 3. I would like for her to get rid of those invisible eyes on the back of her head.

Very LAZY relaxing day in our household today. I have been dealing with a "cold" or whatever you want to call it for about a week. So not much has been done around here. Only what has to be. Today we our making forts and tents all through the house. The kids are dressing up like they are going outside but are playing in are back room. Faith is wanting to join in. We had a very easy breakfast (cereal) a very easy lunch (whatever you grabbed) and dinner in the crockpot. I did manage to clean the bathrooms a little. Hope everyone is enjoying the "no school" day and keeping warm. I dont even want to open the door today just looking outside makes me cold.

Its been a little crazy around here. Trying to get back into some sort of routine. Faith is out of sorts because of her ears and I dont quite think the antibiotic is working. We may be making a trip back to the doctor. Ben had a tooth ache yesterday and was in so much pain. He broke a tooth at the age of 2 and we have just really been babying it cause if they pull it all his other teeth wont come in right. We might have to end up doing a root canal. Ick that will be fun. Maybe not though. Ben has on his 1.50 shirt we went to Kohls and hit an awesome sale where are those sales when school starts. Anyways that is the only way we can shop so it was a wonderful shopping trip. We spent less than 75 dollars and got Brandon 6 pairs of pants, 8 shirts, Ben got 2 pairs of pants and 2 shirts. So not too shabby. This better be it for Brandon that boy is skipping sizes when school started he was in a 5-6 and now he is wearing 7-8 but everything has to be tried on so I can see how it will fit. At least he can pass things down to his brother.

The tooth fairy is going to have to take on a second job. Yes, he lost another tooth. This is so hilarious. Do they really lose their teeth this fast and this close together? Or is it just my child. Just checking. Kind of worrying me.

Well it wasnt just teething. My poor little Faith got it all at once. She has not been sick one time since she was born except for a runny nose do to teething. I was up with her all night last night and took her to the doctor today. She has an ear infection in both ears, a sinus infection and a really bad red throat. They didnt check her for strep throat because nobody was in the lab today. So of coarse she was going to be on an antibiotic anyways so it didnt matter. Except we all need to be extra careful. Well they are having manufacturing issues with tylenol and ibuprofen so I cant find any anywhere. It was a two hour wait for her prescription. Not a good day. And she just is miserable. So we will be staying away from everyone for a while. She has been sick since we got back from Christmas. Now I really feel bad. Wish us a restful night sleep. Hehe we will see.

Man I am tired. Maybe I can take 5 for myself. Ben is off to school today. Faith has been having a horrible week. She has some swollen gums, a runny nose, and a bad cough. I am hoping it is all just due to teething. Kind of worries you though when it all happens at the same time.

Ok sorry no photo but had to share. Ben comes upstairs crying hysterically. "Mommy I did something bad, you are gonna be so mad". I go what did you do. "First tell me you wont be mad". We do this for about three minutes. Finally I go to see what he did. He had climbed up the shelves in the door of the refrigerator to get a piece of cheese and pulled down the whole top shelf. Busted pickle jar, peanut butter jar, jelly jar, chicken broth. I was almost laughing under my breath cause he was so upset, I really didnt have to say anything. We cleaned it up together and I bet that wont happen again. Just think it could have been so much worse. Little things like that just dont bother me anymore. But I am getting a work out. Still picking up glass. And I am now mopping for the third time.

Well we are back to the crazy mornings. But that is ok I love them. Just to get up in the morning and start a fresh day. Things were kind of nuts cause everyone is still on vacation time. We still got up in the mornings just didnt rush to get dressed. Which is extreme relaxation for us. We are just morning people so getting to relax a bit was a pure treat for us. Josh starts school here in a couple of weeks so I will be back to my do it all by myself days but a small sacrifice for a nice outcome is worth it.

Happy New Years!!!!! Brandon wanted so badly to lose his teeth before Christmas but didnt happen. He did lose them before New Years. So he is gonna change the song a little.
All He wants for New Year's is his two front teeth.
No biting into an apple for awhile.
