Will the construction EVER be complete

Ok I am so tired and stressed out it is not even funny. Here we go again. We were told oh I can have this room done in a week. We are at the end of week 2 and does it look like this job is complete. And I am just so tired of the mess. I have to watch the kids even closer because I dont want Faith putting drywall or anything like that in her mouth and now that she is a little more mobile she either goes after the plastic that is on the floor to try and make the carpet not get so messy. (Since I did just clean it) or after the bits and pieces of ceiling, or wall or drywall or trash from the drywall. And then of coarse my dog likes to sniff everything so then she gets all messy and drags it all through the house. Geeezzz will this ever get done. . First of all if you would put in a full 8 hour day and not work for 1-2 hours a day and then make up some excuse. Oh I have my wifes license, or oh I forgot I had an appointment. And how many smoke breaks does a person need.
And if that wasnt enough we had someone come out yesterday to look at our chimney and clean it. Well we were told first of all absolutely positively dont use it. Because it could catch our house on fire in a second. We were told their is no liner in it. But when we bought the house we were never told that. And Josh got up on the roof with the inspector. Man what happened to the honest hard working people. Now anyone will say anything just to make a buck. I mean we could have burnt up in our house and this person obviously would not have even batted an eye because he made his 100 dollars. I would never be able to live with myself if I lied to somebody and then ended up hurting them in the end.
And now Josh is back at work and we still have an uncompleted mudroom and an uncompleted bedroom and a very messy house. CALGON TAKE ME AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!
