Lots and lots of fun.

We have had a very eventful couple of weeks at the Homan house. My friends say I am neglecting my blog so here we go. We have been spending lots of time outside with the cold going to be sneaking up on us soon. We have school activites we have been attending. Brandon and Ben got to attend their first skate night. I cant get those pictures to download for some reason. But we have a skate night every month so we will have some later. They loved it Josh took them and he actually got out there and skated with them.
Also Brandon is getting involved with the boyscout activities. They went and cleaned up the litter in a park, and they are deciding what events they want to do this year. He is selling popcorn right now. He is so into it. He has set a goal and wants to sell enough to get some binoculars or this handheld game/ watch thing. We will see hopefully he can do it.
Ben lost 2 teeth and is very proud "He is growing up" he lost them one week apart from each other. He is the only one in his classroom who has lost some teeth. Very important to him. He is so big. He is doing very well in kindergarten he knows all of his spanish colors, all of his alphabet and sounds, most of his '#'s and is already starting to read some words. I am very excited he got Mrs. Rangel this year, she is a very good teacher and Ben is off to a wonderful start.

The fall festival was here this weekend and we enjoyed every bit of it everyday. Me and my friend Venessa went down Friday around 11 and got our Gyros so yummy but so expensive. We also enj0yed a funnel cake. It was me, her, Faith and Morgen. We were able to walk around and look at stuff since we could contain the two little ones. Then when the kids got our of school and Josh got off work we went down again. I enjoyed another Gyro, Josh enjoyed one and we took the kids on some rides. We met up with Brandi, Brianna, and her mom but quickly lost them in the crowd. It was nuts. Saturday was the parade we went back down to the square. I enjoyed another Gyro. ( Yes I love them and they are only here once a year. Gotta take advantage). And we watched the parade. We met up with Brandi, Venessa, Renee, and my whole family minus Jamie and kids. (Since Jamie decided she had more important things to do. Just kidding). The parade wasnt as good as it has been in past years but it was ok. Brandon , Star Wars, and the robotics were the best things. They were so separated that at times you thought the parade was over and people actually got up and left. But it wasnt over at all.

Brandon had alot of fun he waved to everyone. After Josh got home on Saturday we went back down and let the kids ride a few more rides and had some twisted potatoes and another funnel cake. It was alot of fun. I am so worn out today my legs are killing me. I walked so much this weekend. But it was a blast. Today both boys have birthday parties to go to. Brandon is going to see Igor, his party is from 11 to 2 and Ben is going to Ameristar to Kidquest and his is from like 3 to 6. What a busy fun weekend.

I can't believe Jamie is slacking on her family duties!

The weather has been wonderful lately. We must take more time to enjoy it.

I am glad you guys had a fun weekend! Too bad we didn't make it to the festival. :( Jim ended up with 2 tickets to the race at Kansas Speedway and took Shane after he had soccer. But I have to say that it was soo much fun having a whole one on one day with Kayla!
