Faith knew exactly what to do with these eggs. Except her mouth wasnt big enough to hold them all. She had a blast.

Today was a super start to the weekend. Today was our annual Easter Egg hunt. It was a blast. They limited you to 10 eggs because in the past years some kids will have 50 eggs and others will have 1. So because this is such a BIG event they finally figured out to have a limit. Faith had a blast. Max and Ben ran around like crazy people till the hunt started. They get so excited when they get to spend time together. Millie had mixed feelings she wanted to just play with the other kids her size. All in all was fun. Brandon didnt get to go because he had soccer practice but we just gave him all of Faiths eggs. And he was completely fine with that. She did the work and he gets the reward. Sounds fair. Doesnt it?

Entry for March 23, 2007

Well our Ben decided today that he was going to give himself a hair cut. Even though last Friday I took him and got him a perfectly good haircut at Great Clips. I didnt notice it at first but then while we were waiting on Brandon to get out of school I noticed it. I looked at him and he knew I knew before I said anything. His lip started quivering and he just started sobbing uncontrollably and saying sorry mommy , sorry mommy. I cant believe it. I guess because I keep their hair so short it wasnt as noticeable. He was so upset I really didnt have to say anything. Then when I told him I was gonna take a picture he was like PLEASE dont show anybody. I'm not showing anybody. Am I?

SMILE!!!!!!!
Faith is so funny and so onery. I dont know "where" she gets it from. She will literally just crack up with a huge belly laugh out of nowhere. She plays peek a boo with us but she will only do it on the side of the bed. She ducks down or lays all the way on her tummy then hops up real fast and then falls to the floor again. We can play that game for about 15 minutes. Really wears her out.
Another thing she does is she no longer wants any type of baby or toddler food, she wants the real stuff. If you give her a baby fruit snack, or that dried fruit stuff. She will taste it with the tip of her tongue and if she doesnt like it she will launch it across the room, put her hands in her lap and calmly wait for you to give her something else. At 1 years old this girl can eat a taco (hard shell) salad, brocolli, she tries to bite into an apple and gets mad when she cant get a real bite. She doesnt want to drink from a sippy cup she wants to drink from a straw or a regular cup but cant hold either without spilling it. So we see lots of fits thrown over that one. She is little miss independent and wants to do things her own way. Sometimes good, sometimes not. Now I definately know what they mean when they say girls are different than boys and this is just the beginning.

Ok so I am being allowed a couple of minutes to blog. My kids have taken over any extra time I once had. Now that it is getting warmer we are spending most of our extra time outside. Brandon is learning alot in school about making the right food choice. And making the right choice to go outside and play instead of sitting in front of the tv all the time. Not that my kids do that. Brandon and Ben always choose going outside first. Brandon wants us to make the right choices so we can be healthy and be together forever. We have been walking Brandon too school everyday and me and Ben explore on the way home. And have some quality time just to talk. On the days Ben has school me and Brandon get some quality talking time. Brandon says " Mommy I like it when we just get to talk it makes me feel special like you actually care what I have to say".
They seem to be growing up so fast that I am trying to get better at my time managment. And make our time together quality time. I dont want my kids to ever be like mom you are always too busy to talk to me.
