It's Beginning to Feel alot like Christmas!!!!

Well we are having a wonderful day skipping school today. (Not our choice). But having fun anyways. We are being lazy watching a movie, playing with toys, asking 100 times when it is gonna snow and can we play in the snow. Well so far all it is, is ice.
This is where I keep finding Brandon and Ben. Now that Brandon can read some he sits in the other room reading the Christmas packages that are slowing being put around the tree. And I hear hey Ben this one is for you and of coarse they count to make sure there is the same amount for each. One of the packages was brought to my attention with what I considered (finger poke holes in it) and guess who got the blame. The dog. It is wonderful too see the smiles on their faces. And that they notice each new package. They are excited even if the gifts arent for them. Ben will say. Mommy the tree looks boootiful. And mommy where are the presents coming from, does Santa sneak in every night. And we must really be being good mommy.

My little reader. We went to a Read-A-Thon Safari last night at Brandons school. Their fund raiser this year was to read at least 500 minutes. Well of coarse Brandon isnt completely reading yet so I read to him. We would read 1-3 hours a day and we had to keep track of the reading for 10 days we read over 1240 minutes. Well because of that he was the Top Reader in his class. So he got special recognition.
He received: A godfather coupon for a free large two topping pizza, free drinks, free breadsticks, free dessert pizza. A free 2-topping pizza from Papa Johns, a free cone from dairy queen, 2 free cones from Sheridans, a gift card to Barnes and Noble, a free day pass to the community center, a free bowling game, a free skate night.
He also won a door prize which was a ten dollar gift certificate to build a bear, plus he got his picture taken for the paper. He was so excited. They also served us Cici's pizza (we only were allowed one piece) but several people brought side dishes or desserts.That part was all fun afterwards we were suppose to go to "A different country" and be read too. They had tents set up around the school. That was a total disaster. They had K-5th graders together. (Now come on) like they like the same stories in that big of an age range. And a few times the tent almost came down by all the up and down and in and out of the tent. So after about 20 minutes of this we got up and left. Get the prizes and then get out of there.

The Grinch

This is way too funny not to share. We bought the Grinch this year the one with Jim Carrey. I say to Ben today (after we get home from dropping Brandon off), I am gonna lay Faith down for her nap so pick out a movie to watch. He says I want to watch the Bit@@. I said what just thinking I didnt hear right. He says the Bit@@ mommy that is my favorite movie. So I go show me. He picks up the Grinch. I say you mean the grinch. He goes no theBit@@. he says what is the Grinch. Oh my gosh. I have to get that one corrected soon.

Ok well I am getting yelled at by Josh because it isnt even Thanksgiving yet. But my kids are driving me nuts. They have been wanting to put the tree up since the day after Halloween. So here we are today. I am giving in.
First of all it wont be completely put up until after Thanksgiving because I will be putting it up by myself. They just think they are helping. But little Miss Faith decided she wanted to have a runny nose, fever, and not sleep today so not much is getting done. I now have the tree all up and am now putting the lights on. See I dont know what he is complaining about. Looking forward to all the good fattening food tomorrow. Yum yum. You gotta dive in!!!!

We are on our way!!!
Brandon wants so bad to be able to sing "All I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS MY TWO FRONT TEETH". We just might make it only one more to lose. Only this tooth did come out a little too early. We bought Shelby (our dog) a new dog toy today. And Ben says "Bubby lets put one end in your mouth and one end in my mouth and pull". Well they did that only Ben let go and it snapped back and hit Brandon in the mouth. Blood starts pouring and so do tears. The tooth was already loose but when you see RED it tends to freak a person out. So for the next 5 minutes I hear mommy pull it pull it. Brandon wants so bad to be the first person in his kindergarten class to lose his front tooth. (Cause you know that is a special thing for that grade). Well I guess he did it unless another child was chewing on a dog toy tonight also. See what fun things we do now that we turned off the tv.

Well here is my 9 month old in baby prison. (As Josh calls it). She wants the run of the house she thinks she is bigger than she is. We had her checkup today and she weighs 19 lbs and is 29 inches long. She is in the 50th percentile on weight and 95th percentile on height. They say she will be tall. He said she is very advanced in everything. Couldnt be because of those older brothers she is trying to keep up with. He said she will probably be walking anytime. No shots so that was good.

So today I am out shopping spending Josh's money (hehe) while he is out enrolling in school. For those of you who dont know Josh is getting out of the military. He was pretty much told that if he reenlisted he would be going to Iraq for up to 2 years so with some deep long thinking he has decided to retire. I will support him in whatever he does but I think he feels he has already missed ALOT of time with the kids he doesnt want to miss anymore. So now he is enrolling in some classes and is trying to go back to school. He signed up for Math and English which he will attend after work 3 days a week. So we still wont see him much but he will be here in the States.

So this is literally were Josh has spent his vacation. Kind of funny. He cleaned up his old fish tank and put it in the boys room. Brandon and Ben were exstatic. And I didnt have to clean the tank nor will I have too. That is Josh's job. But everytime I go looking for him he is upstairs watching the fish. We haven't gotten anything done around the house but that is ok look at the joy.

By the way the tank is really clean. The picture made it look cloudy and green.

GIVE ME MY BREAKFAST!!!!! She is almost always happy except when she is hungry. She is teething somemore so she has been pretty cranky this week.
Brandon made it to the 100 club. He is so excited. The hundred club is for all of the kindergarteners who can write and say their numbers to atleast 100. We get a newsletter each week and his name wasnt listed so I emailed his teacher so Brandon counted to her on Monday. He wants to walk to school but I am very nervous about that too many crazy people in the world so I snuck up to the school yesterday and we walked home. It was very enjoyable getting to have some time with just Brandon. Does not happen very often.
We went to Cabela's yesterday to get Josh some work clothes and to get a couple more Christmas gifts. I have to get my stuff when I can. I would love to go shopping the day after Thanksgiving. 1. because I have never gotten too. 2. Because of the good sales. 3. So I can push some people out of my way. But when you have 3 kids and a husband who always has to work that day that isnt possible. So I do alot of my shopping on-line or when Brandon and Ben are at school at the same time. Which is only 1 or 2 days each week. I am not going to drag my kids out of bed at 4 in the morning just to get to places early. That would not be fun at all. I have a friend who loves Mickey stuff so she is up by like 4 and at the Disney Store by 5. She says she is always the first one there because they dont list their sales so nobody knows to go there. (The do now).Anyways now I need to dig everything out and see what I have bought. I have already forgotten.
So here I sit downstairs with me and Faith and everyone else is upstairs still sleeping. When do I get to sleep in. I honestly think the last time I slept in was sometime in highschool. I have always prefered to work early morning. Like be at work by 6:00. Oh well who needs to waste time sleeping anyways. Too much to do.

Ok I am losing my mind. I sit down to do something. Never get it done and end up with more to do. I went to Target today to finish up the boys Christmas. So I guess I got something done. It is now 10:49 Ben will be home in an hour. I still have to balance the checkbook, pay some bills, put up the stuff I bought at Target, finish Brandons fundraiser paperwork, fill out Bens picture form, make lunch, start some laundry, fold some laundry, go through the mail, fill out some bday cards, cut out some pictures to send, change Faith's diaper ( pppeeeewwww), feed her lunch, take the dog out to pee. I better stop now. Think I can get it all done in an hour. Better kick it into Super Women mode. So why am I sitting here waisting more time blogging about it. Back to work!!!!

Well here is a picture of my niece. Who I think is now 7 months. I dont know when I will get to meet her in person, as she lives in Texas. She is so adorable. I wish they lived closer but maybe we will make it down sometime to see her. I am hoping we can take a vacation next summer. We will see. Always soooo much to do. But we do need to take some time out away from the craziness, that is all around. By the way her name is Kristen.

Here is my handsome little kindergartener. He loves school. Everything about it. He loves getting up in the morning, picking out what he is going to wear, deciding what he is going to have for lunch. It is so cute. Now if he will still stay on that path. He is already reading some words. We dont really watch tv in our house and we also dont play video games. Both Brandon and Ben have a leapster but that is about it. We dont have cable so that doesnt leave much choice. So we read ALOT in this house. And Brandon, I have noticed goes through the house trying to sound and blend everything and anything. He is reading really big words just by sitting down and sounding it out. And he is very proud of himself. As are we very proud of him. I love to see his face light up when he gets it right.

Happy Birthday Mom!!! I wont put up your age. Hehe.
We had a birthday party for our mom this weekend. Had yummy fruit, vegetable's, little sandwiches, and of coarse cake. Our mom loves fall so we had some fall flowers and some fall colored balloons also. It was a nice time and all the kids got to go outside and play. Hope it was as fun for you mom as it was for us.

Well we had a Dr. filled day. Might as well get it all done at once. I had to go in this morning and then we all 4 had our flu shots this afternoon. The army takes care of Josh so we dont have to worry about him. I went first of coarse to show everyone how easy it is, and then went Brandon he was so good he still had to hold mommy's had but didnt shed a tear or make a sound, now Ben screamed and cried as soon as we said it was his turn, he made such a fuss he had no idea she had actually given him the shot. Then he was just kind of embarrassed and Faith only squeaked just a second. Pretty good visit all in all. So the kids got to pick out something special from the dollar store. Brandon picked a wannabe transformer and Ben picked a paint set. Super cheap gifts but made them happy.
Yesterday was parent teacher conferences and we were told by both teachers what good parents they could see we were in our children. So that makes you feel really good. We might have to sacrifice and put on hold a lot of things we might want or need but I truly wouldnt have it any other way. I want to be the one raising my children and I hope I get to do it till they are grown. Brandon is the top 4 in his classroom. And is the top in class in understanding some spanish he also is going to be a math lover. (at least that is were he is right now). We were told that they both are very compassionate and all the kids want to be friends with them. So that is also great. I hope it continues like that.

Ok so now we have to brown grocery bags full of candy. Too bad you cant recycle candy huh. I will be a little sneaky over the next few weeks and slowly empty the bags into the trashcan. Ben was done trick or treating before we even began. We did alot this year so I think he had his fill early. We didnt get many trick or treaters ourselves maybe 20 kids at the most and most of them were in the 16 to 20 something age. Holding pillowcases as bags. Oh well its over now let's move on to the Turkey.

MY SOCCER DUDE!!!

Here is Brandon with his trophy. He had his pizza party and Cici's tonight which was absolutely horrible. First of all Josh didnt get off from work on time so I had to go up to Cici's by myself with all three kids. There were no highchairs available and I had to make plates for all three of us plus get drinks for all three of us, while holding Faith.
Ben dropped his plate on the floor so I had to get him another one. I just cleaned the messed up and flung the plate by the pop station not even caring at this point. I must be too nice or something cause when I see people having issues I offer to help them. We sat over in a corner y ourselves not even close to the team. There was a school their for pizza night so it was so insane. We finally walked around the place enough we found a dirty table to sit at. Not fun but that is ok. We suffer through for our kids dont we.
This girl that is on the team with Brandon kept hitting Brandon in the head with her team picture saying " Sign this, Sign this. Finally I am like we have no extra hands can you please wait for us to sit down and then you can beat on Brandon. This little girl is so hyper she picks up here trophy and holds it up past her head and drops it. Well what do you think happened? She starts screaming tears streaming down her face cause she cant believe it shattered into pieces and of coarse you only get one. But now we are home. Me with a pounding headache and starving cause I got one piece of pizza and a half a pop. I spent 13 dollars for all of us to go home hungry. Go figure.
