We went and had dinner with my friend Brandi Monday night. She made homemade lasagna and I make a cheesy pie dessert. She is leaving for her new home of the State of Michigan Friday morning. So we have tried to hang out a little before then. The evening started fine until the kids began fighting over a ball.

Icecream day at Momo and Pops. We had alot of fun on Saturday we had homemade icecream and either made icecream sandwiches or icecream cones or like Jamie did we piled it all in a bowl and added toppings. The kids had a blast except the one time that Max and Ben decided to run down the street away from everyone. Thank goodness Jamie was paying close attention and had her running shoes on.
My friend Brandi is getting ready to move to Michigan so her and her daughter came over to kind of get to say goodbye to everyone. I have some pics of the icecream day in with my pictures check them out. Have a super weekend. Glad it has finally cooled down a bit.

She is getting too big too fast. I cant believe she is already moving around, and eating from a spoon, and talking, and cutting the naps shorter and shorter. Time flies so fast.
I am also getting very mad at the guy in charge of our mudroom construction that is obviously how they make their money. They have mostly made one man do this whole job. Today Justin the guy working had to deal with 10ft tall drywall hang it and sand it all by himself. And his boss is like let me know when you really really need some help. Well the person getting screwed is us because the longer it takes them the more money we have to pay. So I dont know what is gonna happen Josh is not too happy right now. Plus the fact that this is the week all the overtime is happening the hottest week of the month.

IT IS SO HOT!!!! I worry about my husband all day, I worry about Jamies husband all day and I worry about my dad and brother. They all work in the extreme heat and you can get over heated so fast. They say you lose about a gallon of water an hour in this heat.
The guys working on our house are extremely hot too. I try and offer them some tea and ice and water and stuff. It just worries me. I thank goodness I dont have to work in this heat.
We have been trying to stay away a little bit cause one my house is so trashed it is stressing me out. I have to have things organized and clean and this is not going over too well with me right now having dust everywhere. So I stay upstairs alot. Monday we went to Jamies cause I, like her am getting addicted to craigslist and am trying to sell some old clothes, and baby stuff to try and make some money to buy my kindergarten student and my preschool student some school clothes. With the first 81 dollars I was able to buy socks, underwear, a couple of shirts and a few school supplies. GEEZ the money goes fast. So we did that Tuesday. Brandon was so excited this is the first year so he just though it was great. Today we went and saw Ice Age 2 at the $2 theater. That place is great cause it gets you out of the heat, out of the house and its a cheap date. But anyways it is wearing me out doing all this running in the heat and I am tired of looking at the gas prices rise. Anyways that is a whole other story and I am sure you all feel the same way I do.

Ok time for a quick catch-up been super busy this week. I have put some updated pics on under my photos of what the mudroom looks like after all the work they did this week. These guys have been working their (bleeps) off in this hot 108 degree weather. My house is a wreck but I am not even going to bother dusting everyday and working my butt off just for it to be messed up the next morning. They are here by 7:00am so we had to go around apologizing to our neighbors. But yea right we are like the youngest couple on the block my neighbors are all like 50 or older so I am sure they are up before those guys get here.
Shelby (our boxer) is going nuts she cant go out the back door to go to the bathroom so our potty-trained dog has been having accidents. She wants to attack the construction workers (not really) she wouldnt hurt a fly but when she comes running at you she freaks people out cause she is so big.
Brandon and Ben are so excited they will just sit by the window and watch the guys work. But they also laugh at them because they will be out there singing 70's and 80's songs and Brandon says they are goofy. The electrician is coming on Monday we will have a total of 5 new lights installed. If any of you know me you know I love light the more the better. Wish it wasnt so darn hot right now it is hard to keep the kids occupied with no backyard to play in right now.

They knocked it down. They got alot done in one day. Even with my husband outside bull******** with them the whole time. We are paying them to do the work and my husband who cant sit still for 5 minutes is outside helping them do the work. Go figure.
The bad thing is no naps. It was so extremely loud here yesterday that no one ended up with a nap. Which sucked because we went to the drive-in last night and watched Pirates of the Carribean. (Awesome movie by the way, cant wait for #3). Ben fell asleep at about 10:00 which was probably good because the rest of us were able to enjoy the movie. In between the down pours coming and going through out the evening. And the lady next to us screaming at her kids. Cussing and calling them names. It was ridiculous. Anyways not going to like the missing naps with all the noise but will like the completed room. Wish us luck

Yea they are getting started on our mudroom today. It is going to be so nice when they get done. Will help our house value go up and also will be an added addition to the house. The room is so cold in the winter and so hot in the summer. And it sucks in the winter cause sometimes I cant do my laundry cause the pipes freeze up. I will keep updated pics. Wish us luck no laundry here for 3 weeks. Ugggg. You all that have kids understand my frustration. Things happen unexpectedly.

Hope everyone had a great 4th of July. We had an awesome time at the McNeels house. I think everyone had fun from the grown-up men playing football, to the women pigging out , and the kids having fun with the fireworks. Only a couple of minor burns. Thank goodness Even poor Ben did ok even with a sore ear. The loud bangs of the fireworks kind of made his ear hurt but he made it through. Faith slept right through the great big booms. Guess when you are in your mothers arms nothing bothers you.

Poor Ben ended up with swimmers ear. He has not been himself the last few days and all of a sudden his ear started draining and he had 103.5 fever. Sure enough we take him in and the doc says no swimming for 2 weeks. Uh yea right we have swimming lessons we have paid for non refundable.
